On Thursday, September 8, I will serve as one of the presenters at a seminar sponsored by Compass Benefit Partners, LLC. The seminar will run from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, and it will be held at the University of Denver. Any employer that offers a retirement plan to its employees is welcome to attend. My presentation will cover topics such as:

• Mid-year amendments to safe harbor 401(k) plans
• Updates to the IRS’s Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System
• Horror Stories (i.e. recent court cases affecting retirement plan fiduciaries)
• Plan document restatements for the Pension Protection Act of 2006
